Dimapur, Oct. 30 (EMN): The Vigilance Awareness Week on the theme, ‘Integrity- A way of life’, got underway with a pledge taking ceremony in the OPD foyer of NEIGRIHMS on October 28.
A poster display competition was also organised wherein staff and students expressed their thought on the theme through their posters. On October 29, a skit play competition on the theme ‘Integrity- A way of life’ was organised where three teams of Nursing College, NEIGRIHMS participated. The director of NEIGRIHMS while speaking on the occasion stressed upon the employees and students of the institute to start an integrity culture in NEIGRIHMS, where everybody is conscious about the integrity of self and others. He said the integrity of a person is when his/her soul is pure to the extent that nobody has any doubt on the honesty and intentions. Vigilance Officer NEIGRIHMS, Prof. P. Bhattacharya while speaking on the occasion informed the audience regarding structure of Vigilance Cell in the Institute and announced that any act of corruption can be brought in his notice in a confidential note in Vigilance Office or Director’s Office or Medical Superintendent Office.
The Vigilance Awareness Week will continue till November 2.
