NEET and JEE (Main) exams postponed

Dimapur, March 29 (EMN): The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the ensuing NEET (UG) and JEE (Main) examinations, “in view of the hardships faced by the parents and the students due to Covid-19 epidemic.” According to an update from NTA, the JEE (Main) April 2020 examinations scheduled to be held on April 5, 7, 9 and 11th 2020 has been postponed, and the new dates will be announced on March 31. Accordingly, the admit cards for the examinations which were to be issued on March 20 will now be issued after March 31 only, it read.

NTA further informed that NEET (UG) May 2020 examination scheduled to be held on May 3 had also been postponed.
“As of now the examination is proposed to be held in the last week on May 2020. Exact date will be announced later on after assessing the situation. Accordingly, the admit cards for the examination which were to be issued on  March 27 2020 will now be issued later on after assessing the situation after April 15 2020 only,” it informed.

The candidates and their parents are advised to keep visiting jeemain.nta.nic.in, ntaneet.nic.in and www.nta.ac.in for latest updates. They are also being informed individually through their registered mobile number/ email-id, it added.
