DIMAPUR — The National Health Mission Employees Association (NEAN) has lauded the mission director of the National Health Mission (NHM) for the timely intervention in the release of remuneration for NHM employees, which had been pending since May 2024.
In a press statement, the association expressed that it is fortunate to have such an understanding and compassionate mission director and officials committed to the welfare of the employees.
The NEAN also appealed and suggested the concerned authority plan and make provisions so that employees' monthly remuneration is reserved for at least 2-3 months, aligning with the quarterly sanction and instalments from the government of India, to mitigate the issue of pending salaries in the future.
