Northeast Alliance for Leadership Education and Social Transformation (NEALEAST) conducted leadership training for the youth of Arunachal Pradesh
DIMAPUR — Northeast Alliance for Leadership Education and Social Transformation (NEALEAST) conducted leadership training for the youth of Arunachal Pradesh at Youth Oasis Centre from August 1 to the 4th on the theme “Arunachal youth for holistic transformation.”
An update from NEALEAST stated that the event was sponsored by NEALEAST, India Orphan Mission (IOM) and Arunachal Baptist Church Council (ABCC). It added that more than 50 participants including resource persons from Delhi, Guwahati and Nagaland participated in the Institute.
Some of the important dignitaries who attended the training included Rev. Tugaso Manyu, ABCC general secretary; Ongtang Simai, youth secretary; Dr. Imkongmeren from Delhi; Emanuel Tanti, IOM state coordinator from Guwahati; Imli Lemtur from Jorhat; Chubawabang, Dr. Rabi Pame and Rev. Takatemjen.
It stated that the current trend of church persecution in India and the Northeast was one of the concerns of the training programme. Besides, the training discussed leadership perspectives from the heroes of the Bible, setting priorities, clarifying youth issues and rethinking Christian leadership.
It added that completion certificates were awarded to all the participants.
