Audition for Northeast Dancing Best Moms Season-2 got underway on Sunday (February 14) at Hotel Silhouette, Dimapur, where 30 contestants danced their heart out to get a spot for the grand finale.
Organized by Murti Films Private Limited, the Northeast Dancing Best Moms Season-2 received an overwhelming response in comparison to the lukewarm response during Season-1. The show will have just two rounds where the selected contestants of the first day audition will get an entry for the grand finale scheduled on March 20, 2016. This format was considered keeping into account the convenience of the moms.
Addressing media persons prior to the launching of the audition, proprietor of Murti Films Pvt. Ltd, Munna Yadav, said the show was conceptualised with the idea to promote mothers with their talents which otherwise remained dormant as they are engaged with household chores. To take forward the reality show into a larger platform, Munna Yadav informed that Season-3 episode scheduled next year will witness the presence of veteran Bollywood Superstar, Govinda.
The Northeast Dancing Best Moms Season-2 audition was graced with the presence of noted social activist of Dimapur, Neeta Agarwal; finalist of Vivel Northeast Diva 2015 Gihutoli Khulu; and Nagamese actress Rose Longchar. The three ladies expressed eagerness to witness the show and conveyed that the contestants should realize the opportunity through this platform and break all barriers to appreciate their passion.
The grand finale of Northeast Dancing Best Moms Season-2 will be held on March 20 which will be graced by the Parliamentary Secretary of Art & Culture, Eshak Konyak. The winner will be rewarded with cash prize of Rs. 50,000 along with Smartphone, while the runners up will be rewarded with Smartphone and gift hampers.
