Dimapur, April 14 (EMN): Personnel from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, carried out fumigation drive at high school market area, Kohima, on April 14 in connection with Covid-19.
Sub-inspector KP Singh, who commanded the drive, said the fumigation drive was jointly conducted by a sub-team (12E Team Kohima) under 12th Bn NDRF, Doimukh (Arunachal Pradesh), and Angami Youth Organisation. He added that the joint team would carried out similar drive in phase manner at different locations in Kohima.
The team sprayed the disinfectant mixing with Sodium Hypochlorite and water on the footpath, shop doors etc. with the help of jet spray machine. The fumigation was done along the stretch of market area and surrounding places.
