NDPP’s candidate for 14-Southern Angami-I bye-poll announced

Dimapur, Oct. 15 (EMN): The ruling Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) has decided to field Medo Yhokha for the bye-elections to 14-Southern Angami-I assembly constituency.

The party issued the ticket to Yhokha on Thursday. Sources said that Yhokha was the PRO to former NLA Speaker Vikho-o Yhoshü, whose unfortunate demise in December last year had necessitated the bye-poll.
