Dimapur, Aug. 24 (EMN): With an aim to address the soaring rate of unemployment in the state, the NDPP youth organisation led by its president, Kelhouneizo Yhome, held a consultative meeting with the unemployed youths of Mon district at Mon town on August 23.
Imnatiba Jamir, MLA and advisor of Labour and Employment, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and also the legislator in-charge of the NDPP youth organisation, encouraged the youths to involve themselves in other means of self employment as the government jobs have become scarce. He also mentioned that many youths at present chose to voluntarily remain idle and unemployed, an update from NDPP youth stated.
He further encouraged the youths to form construction groups by engaging the services of the civil and electrical engineers available in their respective districts.
