[/caption] Kohima, April 3 (EMN): The advisor for Rural Development Dr. Neikiesalie Kire on Wednesday affirmed that the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party-led (NDPP) People’s Democratic Alliance (PDA) government in Nagaland is firm on its motto ‘deed not words.’ Concluding the Lok Sabha election campaign for 9th Kohima town assembly constituency at the New Ministers’ Hill Panchayat Hall in Kohima on April 3 evening, the legislator asserted that the ruling government was ‘strong,’ and that it continues to live up to its slogan ‘change is coming.’ All this, he said, is being maintained by overcoming ‘rumours spread by opposition Naga Peoples’ Front and other political parties.’ The forthcoming Lok Sabha election is all about the ‘desire of the people,’ and a choice for them to be either in the ruling side or in the opposition, he said. Kire maintained that better coordination between the state government and the Lok Sabha member will be achieved if the PDA’s consensus candidate Tokheho Yepthomi is elected, he said. Kire has urged the electorate not to be a ‘prey’ of the NPF’s ‘false political propaganda.’ Claiming that the NDPP’s nominee is set to win the Lok Sabha polls, Kire however challenged the NDPP functionaries of the colony to work toward making the winning vote difference the highest margin. Kohima NDPP’s President Zhotuo Kire, and the Janata Dal’s (United) leader T Semy spoke during the occasion. They requested the electorate to cast their vote in favour of Yepthomi in the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls.
