NDPP Jangpetking AC inducts office bearers

The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) 29 Jangpetkong Assembly Constituency held an induction-cum-felicitation programme for office bearers in Mangkolemba town, Mokokchung.

DIMAPUR — The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) 29 Jangpetkong Assembly Constituency held an induction-cum-felicitation programme of office bearers on August 19 in the presence of NDPP district president, Mayangnungba, and a host of other party leaders in Mangkolemba town.

The NDPP 29 Jangpetkong AC office bearers led by Aodangnok Ozukum as president along with vice presidents, general secretary and secretaries were handed over appointment letters signed by the NDPP president, Chingwang Konyak.

Speaking at the programme, Mayangnungba urged the newly inducted office bearers to serve the people in the true principle of the NDPP. He pointed out that the NDPP is a cadre-based party where the grassroots workers matter.

He, therefore, urged the party leaders to focus on the grassroots so that the NDPP’s declared statement ‘towards a state of excellence’ would be achieved in the days to come.

NDPP 29 Jangpetkong AC president, Aodangnok, in his acceptance speech, thanked the NDPP district office for their presence and at the same time solicited their support, guidance and advice in the days to come. He also urged his colleagues to be united and work cohesively for the progress and development of the constituency and Nagaland, a press release issued by the media and publicity cell stated.

The pastor of Mangkolemba Baptist Church, Rev. Mar, invoked God’s blessings upon the newly inducted office bearers.

Short speeches were also delivered by vice president of NDPP Mokokchung region, Lipokzulu; treasurer of NDPP Mokokchung region, Pangerzulu; president of NDPP women organisation of Mokokchung region, Arenla Pongen; president of NDPP youth organization of Mokokchung, Bendang Walling; and president of NDPP Agri & Allied organisation, Imsunungsang.

The programme was chaired by the vice president of NDPP Mokokchung region, Imtiwati, while the welcome address was delivered by vice president of NDPP of Mokochung region, Rongsentemsu Lemtur.
