NDPP announces candidates including 2 women for Nagaland election: Here is complete list and constituencies

The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) on Thursday announced its share of 40 candidates for the ensuing Nagaland Assembly election scheduled to be held on February 27.

As per the seat-sharing deal with its ally, the NDPP will contest 40 seats and the BJP 20 in the 60-member Assembly.
“The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party hereby declares the following persons as its official candidates for the General Election to the Nagaland Legislative Assembly 2023,” announced the NDPP in its official release on Thursday.

Among the 40 candidates, two are women (first timers), namely Hekani Jakhalu, who will contest from 3 Dimapur-III AC and Salhoutuonuo Kruse from 8 Western Angami AC.

The general election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly will be held on February 27 before counting the votes on March 2.
