NDPP and BJP seat sharing 40:20 is a fact – NLA Speaker

Mokokchung, Oct. 8 (EMN): Speaker of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA), Sharingain Longkumer, on Saturday affirmed that the seat-sharing formula (NDPP-40 and BJP -20) with the BJP is a “fact” and that it required no further explanation.
He stated this during the general meeting of NDPP workers under 26 Aonglenden Assembly Constituency on Saturday held at Marepkong community hall in Mokokchung district. Party workers from Dilong, Sangtemla, Arkong Marepkong, Ungma, Settsü and Kupza units and officials from NDPP Mokokchung region attended the meeting.
Stating that politics is all about propaganda, Longkumer warned the party members not to fall victim to rumours. He added that NDPP stands for a solution to the protracted Naga issue.
Longkumer lauded the party workers under 26 Aonglenden AC for their proactive contribution to uplift the party.
N Bendang Jamir, president of NDPP Mokokchung region; Sulemtula, vice president of the regional women’s organisation; and Bendang Walling, president of youth organisation; also spoke at the meeting. The welcome address was delivered by Kikumsungba, vice president of NDPP 26 Aonglenden AC.
