NCSU urges government to bring out yearly work programmes
DIMAPUR — Nagaland Contractors and Suppliers’ Union (NCSU), while extending its cooperation and support to the present state government, urged to bring out yearly work programmes of all the government departments regularly and suggested conferring befitting award to the best performing state government department on regular basis.
A NCSU press release issued jointly by its president, Pele Khezhie, and the general secretary, John Kath, expressed concern over the problem of educated unemployed Naga youth in view of job scarcity in government institutions whereas more and more educated unemployed youth are coming for registration themselves with NCSU for self-employment avenue. NCSU has appealed to the state government to redress the plights of its bona fide members through proper award of contract and supply works.
NCSU further expressed hope that the government headed by the chief minister, Neiphiu Rio, the longest serving chief minister of Nagaland since statehood, would bring in more developments throughout the state based on justice and impartiality.
