Dimapur, Oct. 1 (EMN): The Nagaland Contractors’ & Suppliers’ Union (NCSU) on Mon. reiterated its demand to stop table tender and works execution by various departments, as it is total violation of Government standing order
A press release from the union’s president, Pele Khezhie and general secretary, John Kath extended fullest cooperation and appreciation to Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio for “insisting on floating open tender for construction and renovation of all District and Sub-Division H.Q road in Nagaland”.
While supporting the state Government to scrutinize while allotting works to contractors should be based on merit without any partiality, the union cautioned all the department to strictly follow government standing order by inviting open tender in all the Contract and Supply Works to avoid legal action.
