NCSA Badminton Tournament concludes

Dimapur, March 4 (EMN): The closing programme of the Nagaland Civil Service Association (NCSA) 2nd Badminton Tournament was held at the Badminton Stadium in Kohima on Wednesday, March 4. This was stated in an update from the DIPR.

Commissioner-secretary for Social Welfare Sarah Ritse, also the patron of the tournament, said that sports support positive mental health and improves physical activity besides boosting energy. She urged the officers to continue to serve the people with zeal and determination to uplift the people. She said this type of gathering helps people to strengthen their relations and at the same time help refresh the mind.

The overall championship was bagged by officers posted at the secretariat and directorates while the men’s double was won by Chingmak and Sizin Rentah. The mixed doubles was won by W Honje Konyak and Vikhweno.

Altogether 46 officers took part in the tournament.
