Dimapur, Oct. 18 (EMN): Advisor for Water Resources, Namri Nchang inaugurated a bio-chemistry laboratory and also handed over an ambulance to the community health centre (CHC) at Tening town in Peren district on October 17.
The bio-chemistry machine and ambulance at CHC Tening was funded through the local area development fund, a DIPR report stated.
In his address, Nchang highlighted various developmental works undertaken by the government in the state headed by Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio, and called upon the people to maintain unity for future development.
Short speeches were delivered by the deputy commissioner of Peren, Sentiwapang Aier, deputy chief medical officer Dr. Lanuakum, and Aku Nhai.
The formal programme was held at the Government High School auditorium.
Dr. Neilasakuo Linyu, medical officer of CHC, chaired the programme, while the vote of thanks was proposed by the additional deputy commissioner, Rhosietho Nguori.
