Dimapur, Sep. 17 (EMN): Naga Christian Fellowship (NCF) conclave 2019 organised by the Nagaland Missions Movement (NMM), a missions department of Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) from September 13 to 15 on the theme “Knitted together in Christ.” The biennial event was hosted by NCF Bengaluru to have fellowship, encourage, strengthen and learn from one another.
Altogether 41 delegates from 21 NCFs, NBCC/ NMM officials and staff attended and took part in the programme, Rev. Andrew Semp, secretary of Nagaland Missions Movement, stated on Tuesday.
Speaking in one of the programmes, Rev. Dr. Kethozelhou Keyho, NBCC general secretary, encouraged and challenged the members to be thankful and grateful for what they are and remain faithful to the call in the ministry.
He also reminded the congregation to be the salt and light which has its favour and which ignites its brightness wherever they are placed.
Rev. Andrew Semp, secretary NMM, also shared on the need to live worthy of their calling with total commitment and serve the purpose of their calling.
Zanbemo Kithan, pastor of Yikhum Baptist Church who led in the Bible study, reminded the members that they are all forerunners and prophets for the second coming of Jesus for which they must be ready and fulfil the call and purpose of being in the prophetical ministry.
The NCF forum convenor, Wapangtoshi Longkumer, in his keynote address, reminded that the core objective of having NCF Ministry was to cater to the spiritual need life of Nagas living in different cities. He also shared on how NFCs started, how it is growing and how they should work hard together and support each other to keep the NCF ministry strong.
Meanwhile, NMM expressed gratitude to NCF Bengaluru led by its pastor Rev. Zhabu Yimsung and his entire team for hosting the Conclave 2019. The next conclave would be hosted by NCF Chennai.
