DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) informed all the head of higher secondary schools that the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is offering online courses for classes 11 and 12 in various subjects in different cycles.
Popularly known as study webs of active learning for young aspiring minds (SWAYAM), it offers massive open online courses (MOOCs) launched by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India.
It informed that that in the thirteenth cycle, NCERT is offering 28 online courses for classes 11 and 12 across 11 subjects namely Accountancy, Business Studies, Biology, Chemistry, Economics, Geography, Mathematics, Physics, Psychology, English and Sociology from April 22 to September 30.
The enrolment for the courses has been opened from April 15 and will close on September 1.
It informed that the online courses can support and enrich the learning of the students in a virtual mode. It added that teachers and parents could also participate in the courses to understand the ways of approaching the content and subject.

In this regard, all the concerned heads are requested to disseminate the information to all teachers and students to enroll in the courses and take benefit in said subjects.
