Dimapur, July 24 (EMN): More than 280 NCC cadets, who are currently undergoing a ten-day annual training camp at Pilgrim Higher Secondary School, were provided career counselling in which detailed presentation of all the career options available in the Indian army are made known to them. The camp is being organised by No 1 Nagaland Air Squadron NCC.
A defence release stated that a team of Army Recruiting Office from Rangapahar Military Station led by Major Rishabh Singh attended the camp on July 22. He addressed the cadets as a part of career counselling programme and gave a detailed presentation of all the career options available in the Indian army.
It stated that the talk by Maj. Rishabh Singh helped the cadets to understand different career options available in the army and qualification required for each option. The lecture was followed by a motivational movie on the Indian Army which enthralled the audience and left a lasting impression in the minds of young cadets. Pamphlets about career options in the Indian army were also distributed.
It added that Maj. Rishabh Singh answered patiently to all the queries put forward by the cadets. It further stated that all the cadets are now made more aware about career opportunity adding many are inspired to choose a profession in the army.
