NCC cadets donate protective kits and snacks to Kezo Basa

NCC girl cadets of St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Jakhama give away protective kits and snacks to Kezo Basa village on Thursday.

Dimapur, July 10 (EMN): The ANO and NCC girl cadets of St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Jakhama from 1 Nagaland Girls’ Battalion NCC, Kohima, donated 200 handmade masks, 200 bottles (500 ml each) of handmade hand wash and 200 mini Swiss Rolls (snacks) for the youth volunteers and the elderly of Kezo Basa village on July 8.

Kezo Basa is the adopted village of St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Jakhama, a sub-unit of NCC, informed an update received here.

It was informed that Capt Regina Razousinuo, ANO of SJC, Nb Sub Moawati Ao, PI staff of 1 NL (G) BN NCC and CPL Nginom M Phom, a cadet of SJC visited the village and delivered the materials to village council chairman Viswedel Mekro, GB Puneisa Naki, and VDB Secretary Kevisü Thuphrie.

According to the update, the associate NCC officers and NCC girl cadets of St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Sazolie College, Kohima Science College, Modern College, Don Bosco HSS (Kohima) and Little Flower HSS under 1 NL Girls’ BN NCC-Kohima have been working on hand wash and mask since last week of May, with an aim to donate to their adopted villages and to train cadets in making such protective kits.
