DIMAPUR — Kohima district administration, in collaboration with Zub-Zub India, launched the National Clean Air Programme (NCAP) at Kohima College and Sazolie College on February 21 and 23 respectively.
The inaugural function at Kohima College was attended by the additional deputy commissioner of Kohima, Rhosietho Nguori, while the inaugural function at Sazolie College was attended by the deputy commissioner of Kohima, Kumar Ramnikant, who encouraged the students to collectively participate in reducing air pollution and opt for sustainable living habits, stated a DIPR report.
The module of engagement was designed to educate through classroom lectures and create general awareness through a series of programmes including general awareness classes, reels making competition, outreach activities, cycling competition and experience sharing classes.
