The joint secretary of NCA in an update on Saturday stated that the meeting was attended by Kechangulie Rio (President), K.H. Sukhalu (Vice President), Anilo Khing Khing (Hon. General Secretary), A. Rahman (Jt. Secretary) and Abei Rups (Treasurer) along with two District Cricket Association officials from Kohima, Tuensang, Mon, Wokha, Peren, Phek, Zunheboto, Mokokchung, Dimapur and other members of the Apex Council of NCA. The meeting thanked the BCCI for granting a fully fledged membership to the NCA and also thanked all past officials of NCA for their sincere efforts in difficult times to uplift the game of cricket in Nagaland. The new team of office bearers of NCA has declared its commitment to uplift the game at grass root level and has decided to construct cricket practice pitches in all district headquarters in Nagaland and also provide junior kits to the district associations to conduct regular coaching. It also resolved to conduct Inter-School U-15 and U-18 in all districts in the month of February/March each year, which will be followed by Inter-district tournaments. Inter-college tournaments will also to be conducted along with inter-club tournaments in every district annually. The newly elected office bearers appealed to all the district cricket associations for co-operation as the responsibility of a fully fledged member of BCCI is huge. A one minute silence was observed in memory of the departed member Late Moses Khrumo.
