The Nagaland State Bharat Scouts & Guides inducted Khriehu Liezietsu, Parliamentary Secretary, Youth Resources and Sports, as the 16th President of the Association on July 18. The induction programme was chaired by Khyomo Lotha Ex.MP, State Chief Commissioner. The ceremony started with an invocation prayer by Thepfusatuo, District Organiser of Scouts Kohima while welcome address was given by Atuo Mezhur, State Commissioner (S).
Induction ceremony was conducted by John Tochimong Yimchunger, SOC(S)-cum-Officiating State Secretary assisted by Albert Solo STC(S) and Om Prakash Gupta HQ.Commissioner (C) and Vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs.Vimezhonu Tetsu SOC(G). In his first presidential speech, the newly inducted president said he was humbled to be inducted as the president of the association. He also said that the movement of the Bharat Scouts and Guides was the best way to build up the character of the children and said he would give his full co-operation for the upliftment of the movement in the state.
