Dimapur, Sep. 24 (EMN): Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has cautioned all the head of registered institutions against furnishing false or inflated students’ enrolment particularly from class A to 8, stating that it is a violation to the rules and regulations of managing a school.

NBSE has issued this notification following detection of false or inflated students’ enrolment during its recent inspection of schools.

“Therefore, any registered school if found giving wrong information or figure to the Board shall be viewed seriously and appropriate disciplinary action shall be initiated against the concerned school,” it warned.

In a separate notification, NBSE has notified all head of registered institutions and students with disabilities appearing for the HSLC, HSSLC and class 12 promotion examinations 2023 to submit applications to the board for exemptions required in the examinations.

It informed that the application should be forwarded by the head of institutions where the student is studying or from the centre where the student’s IAF is forwarded, stated a DIPR report.

“They should clearly state the specific exemption required, as per the rules relating to students with disabilities (Notification No.30/2022 dated Kohima, the 21st March 2022), and submit along with medical certificate from a competent medical authority,” it stated.

It notified that applications should be sent through e-mail at hslcorder@gmail.com for HSLC, cwsnclass11@gmail.com for Class 11 and hsslcorder@gmail.com for HSSLC.

The application should be sent within November 5, 2022, after which no application shall be accepted, it stated.
