DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has notified to all the head of institutions that the department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, New Delhi, had launched an e-magazine called ‘Sapnon ki Udaan’ on August 23.
The goal of the e-magazine, prepared by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), New Delhi, was to inculcate reading and writing, and to foster creative endeavour among the young citizens of the country, a DIPR report stated.
In this connection, the NCERT has sought submission of articles on the theme ‘Education in the journey of Viksit Bharat; your dreams and aspirations.’
The NBSE encouraged the students to actively participate and contribute articles. The board also requested all institutions to disseminate the information to the students and encourage them to contribute articles and refine their creative writing abilities.
It stated that contributions could be emailed to collessay21@gmail.com and should include the student’s name, class, the school’s complete name and the district.
The last date for submission of entries has been set on October 3, it informed.
The magazine is aimed for learners in the age group of 10 to 18 years, primarily in middle and secondary stages of school education.
The magazine would focus on educational content with an emphasis on fostering curiosity, creativity and critical thinking skills among children. It would cover a wide range of subjects including science, technology, current issues, literature, arts, and culture, tailored to the interests and cognitive levels of the target age group.
The broad theme for the upcoming issue would be ‘Education in the journey of Viksit Bharat; your dreams and aspirations’ for which it has sought articles, features and ideas.
