NBSE asks educational institutions to create CUET awareness
DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has informed heads of higher secondary schools and colleges registered under NBSE to create awareness about the importance of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admissions to undergraduate courses at the central universities.
A DIPR report mentioned that CUET provides a single window opportunity to students seeking admission in any of the central universities or other participating organisations, including state universities, deemed and private universities across the country, especially those from rural and other remote areas. It also helps establish better connections with the universities.
It noted that the examination enables the candidates to have a wide outreach and be part of the admissions process at various central universities and other participating universities.
According to the National Testing Agency, the next CUET-UG will be held between May 15 and 31, 2024 for the academic session 2024–25.
In this regard, all concerned heads have been asked to raise awareness in the school by conducting mock tests and hands-on training to assist students taking computer-based tests (CBT).
