NBSE announces phase II exams for classes 8 and 9

DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has announced phase II of Class 8 examination as well as phase II of Class 9 final examination for 2023.

According to the notification, the examination for classes 8 and 9 will begin on November 30 and end on December 8.

For class 9, it stated that all registered schools should adhere to the timing given in the routine and that the marks/results of phases I and II should be consolidated and submitted to the board through the portal by December 18.

For Class 8, it stated that the schools should internally conduct the examinations for Nagaland Heritage Studies (English and local dialect), Life Skill Education, and General Knowledge, and that all private schools registered with the NBSE should conduct phase II of Class 8 examination 2023 according to the schedule provided.

Furthermore, all registered schools have been asked to adhere to the routine’s timing and that the marks/results of phases I and II of Class 8 be consolidated and submitted to the Board through its portal by December 18.

The NBSE also added that the examination routine will not be altered in the event of an unexpected holiday. However, in case of cancellation or postponement of the date, the board will notify the candidates through the media.
