NBCA Kohima region sub-centre installs new team

DIMAPUR — An installation service and prayer for a new team of office bearers of the Nagaland Baptist Churches Association (NBCA) Kohima region sub-centre was held at Christian Union Baptist Church in Jotsoma on December 9.

An update from NBCA informed that the tenure of three years and the NBCA Constitution was approved during the programme.

The team would be led by Rev. Velavoyi Keyho from Phezoucha Nagamese Baptist Church, Kohima, as chairman; AK Sangma, pastor of Christian Union Baptist Church, Jotsoma, as vice chairman, Ketoukho Mere from Nagamese Church, Naga Bazaar, as secretary; Kuolachalie Seyie, chairman of Deacon Board, Eklektos Church, Kohima, as treasurer; Ruokuolhoulie Solo, pastor of Flames of Fire Baptist Church, Kohima, as evangelist secretary; Khotuo Yaotsu from Flame of Fire Baptist Church, Kohima, and Amongba  Yimchunger, pastor of Nagamese Church, Naga Bazaar, as advisors.

It mentioned that Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) had declared Nagaland Baptist Churches Association (NBCA), Kohima region sub-centre, as a constituent association in 2011, but due to communication gap, it remained dormant for some time. However, it was reactivated by considering the dire need of churches to come together as one, the statement said.
