WOKHA — The Nationwide IEC (Information, Education and Communication) Campaign under PM JANMAN and DA-JGUA was officially launched in Wokha district on Monday, with twelve district officials and line departments initiating a week-long outreach programme aimed at ensuring saturation of benefits under government schemes, particularly for tribal communities and Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs).
Conducted on the theme “Jan Bhagidari Sabse Door, Sabse Pehle,” the campaign will continue till May 25 across the district, focusing on awareness generation, beneficiary identification, last-mile service delivery and coordinated field-level outreach.
Deputy Commissioner of Wokha, K Mhathung Tsanglao, during a coordination meeting, informed departments that the campaign seeks to intensify dissemination of information and ensure that no eligible beneficiary remains uncovered.
The DC stated that departments would undertake coordinated activities including door-to-door IEC outreach, beneficiary saturation camps, Jan Sunwai (public hearing), health screening, livelihood promotion and grievance redressal, particularly in remote and vulnerable areas.

Campaign activities will be carried out in clusters across the district, where the campaign will conclude on May 25 with a review meeting, reporting, documentation submission and media briefing at the district headquarters.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Wokha, Renbomo Ezung, while briefing departments, said the programme is a continuation of a similar exercise conducted earlier and urged all departments to activate their respective district and village-level teams for effective implementation.
