The updates informed that officials of the UCO bank had stressed on the need to spread awareness among the people in the state about the Lok Adalat. Likewise, officials of the Bank of Baroda are said to have stated that with the help of the legal services authorities in organizing Lok Adalat, the bank can pursue matters about loan recovery more effectively and by saving time. The proceedings were also conducted in local dialects for the convenience of the uneducated and ‘without stressing much on legal technicalities.’
