National flag available for sale in post offices

Dimapur, Aug. 6 (EMN): As part of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, the Postal department informed that the Indian national flag will be available for sale at the rate of INR 25 per flag in all major post offices in Nagaland.

This was disclosed by Som Kamei, Postmaster General, NE-II region, Nagaland and Manipur, during a press conference on Saturday at his office chamber in Dimapur. He announced that they are proud to partner with the government of India to distribute and sell the national flag with a size of 30×20 inches in the post office in all parts of India and also in Nagaland.

He stated that all the post offices numbering 331 in Nagaland and 692 in Manipur would hoist the national flag and be part of the celebration. He stated that the flags would be available at INR 25 per piece in all the district post offices and also on their ePost office portal in their departmental website wwww.indiapost.gov.in.

“Till date we have sold 12,271 flags in Nagaland and 14,668 flags in Manipur. The bulk orders can be placed through our head offices in Kohima and Imphal,” he informed.

He further updated that for the citizens of Dimapur, Kohima and Imphal, they have made a selfie point in the main offices so that anyone could take a selfie and share #hargharTiranaga.
