Dimapur, Nov. 7 (EMN): Nagaland government has decided to host this year’s edition of Hornbill Festival in virtual mode completely, according to a DIPR report on Saturday.

“The department of Tourism has informed that the government of Nagaland has decided to celebrate the Hornbill Festival 2020 in a completely virtual mode only through various audio visual media channels and social media platforms. The content for the same will be sourced from government archives,” it reported.

It may be mentioned that Nagaland celebrates Hornbill Festival every year from December 1 to the 10th, showcasing the state’s rich cultural heritage and traditions to the rest of the world. Described as the 'Festival of Festivals', the event attracts thousands of tourists, both domestic and international, every year.
