Nagaland’s Covid-19 tally reaches 11761 as 33 new cases detected

Dimapur, Dec. 15 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 33 new Covid-19 positive cases on Tuesday, taking the state’s tally to 11,761.

This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

‘33 positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today (Tuesday): Kohima-15, eight each in Mokokchung and Dimpaur, and Peren-2. Also, 31 positive patients have recovered: Dimapur-25 and Kohima-6,’ tweeted the minister. 

According to information provided by the Health department, Nagaland currently has 592 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 547 are asymptomatic, 27 mild, 13 moderate on oxygen, four severe on oxygen and one on ventilator.

The state has also recorded 10,970 recoveries and 69 deaths, out of which seven are ‘not Covid-related’.

In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Kohima leads with 356 cases, followed by Dimapur-149, Peren-23, Mokokchung-20, Kiphire-14, Tuensang-11, Mon-10, Wokha-7, and Zunheboto-2, while Phek and Longleng have zero cases.
