Nagaland’s Covid-19 tally breaches 25000-mark as 56 fresh infections detected on Monday

Dimapur, June 28 (EMN): The number of Covid-19 cases breached 25000-mark on Monday with 56 fresh infections and six deaths reported on Monday.

The state’s Covid tally has been pushed to 25,017 and death toll to 479.

An update from the department of Health and Family Welfare informed that new cases reported in the last 24 hours were from Kohima-25, Dimapur-17, Mokokchung-7, Peren-6, and Kiphire-1.

Meanwhile, 175 recoveries were reported in the last 24 hours, out of which 72 were from Dimapur, 54 from Kohima, 23 from Mokokchung, 12 from Peren, six from Zunheboto, five from Mon, two from Tuensang, and one from Wokha.

With the recovery of 175 patients, the state’s active tally has been reduced to 1,404.
