Dimapur, April 17 (EMN): With 32 new Covid-19 positive cases detected in Nagaland in the last 24 hours, the state’s tally has increased to 12536.

The minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, informed through an update on Saturday that 23 new Covid cases were reported in Dimapur, four in Mokokchung, three in Kohima, and two in Phek, taking the state’s active caseload to 167.

Out of the active cases, 147 are asymptomatic, 16 mild and four moderate on oxygen. Dimapur accounts for 90 such cases, 57 in Kohima, 10 in Mokokchung, six in Phek, three in Longleng and one in Wokha, while the remaining districts are Covid-free.

The state has also registered 12102 recoveries and 84 deaths so far.
