Nagaland: Youth in hundreds attend mega job fair

Dimapur, Oct. 28 (EMN): Youth in hundreds converged at the mega job fair with a hope to find placement at the top level industries of the country in hospitality and cruise line sector on Friday. The mega job fair was organised by the Emporium Training and Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. Nagaland in association with the District Skill Committee under Dimapur district administration at the District Agriculture Office.

Speaking at the opening programme of the mega job fair as guest of honour, the deputy commissioner and chairman of District Skill Committee, Dimapur, Sachin Jaiswal, said this kind of event would bring the best out of the youth. He assured the panelist that the youth of Nagaland are polished, refined and hard working people.

Jaiswal also called upon the youth to give some time and get acclimatise to new surrounding after they find placement. He also urged the youth to work hard with broad and open mind stating that all good things in life come with sacrifice.

While delivering the keynote address, the CEO of Emporium Training and Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. Nagaland, Temjenkala Aier, has termed the event ‘significant’ as they would witness a unique opportunity to form partnerships between potential Employers and employees.

Aier stated that the mega job fair was a focused event with a vision to generate employment to candidates in the hospitality and cruise line sector. The CEO stated that North East India is blessed with manpower resources specifically suited for the service industry, which is characterised by warmth, politeness, good English communication skills and overall pleasant personality.

Aier also assured the youth that the potential employers would be more than happy to welcome them onboard with open arms only if they have the right attitude and the heart for the particular industry.

The lists of industry partners who participated in the mega job fair were Jio World Centre, St’ Regis Mumbai, ITC Hotels, Taj Group of Hotels, The Deltin Hotels & Casinos, and members of the Encalm organisation.
