Nagaland: Yachem Bühü Pangthai felicitates student toppers

KOHIMA —Yachem Bühü Pangthai (Yachem Citizens’ Union) gave away M Chenlom Phom Foundation Award and Certificates of Excellence and Appreciation to Themmei Phom, HSLC top 18, and Baunennyuchong, HSSLC top 5 Science stream, during the felicitation programme held in Yachem village under Longleng district on Saturday.

A press release issued by the organisers informed that Sangti Phom, Head Barrick of Yachem village, has encouraged the toppers to take forward the achievement they made today into a higher level and to become an asset for the society. He also exhorted the students present and participants to take equal responsibility in safeguarding and strengthening the community in all possible ways with dedication.

Khatak Phom, who spoke on behalf of the family of M Chenlom Phom Foundation, thanked the parents of the toppers for nurturing their children with proper attention which had resulted in achieving the milestone. He challenged the other parents to take appropriate and proper care of their children in the right time and make them become an important and resourceful person in the society.

The presidents of Yachem Bühü Staff Pangthai, Yachem Anüti Lunglak (YAL) and Yachem Students’ Union also congratulated the achievers and also encouraged the other students to work harder and march forward with brighter vision for a better life.

Besides presenting the Certificate of Excellence to the two toppers, the Yachem Students’ Union also presented a Certificate of Recognition to Government High School, Yachem, for producing 100% HSLC results under NBSE.

Meanwhile, Themmei Phom and Baunennyuchong have thanked Yachem Bühü Pangthai for organising the event. They thanked their parents, teachers, dear and near ones for the unconditional love and trust put on them and above all to the Almighty God.

The church boards of Yachem and Noksosang Baptist Attoi prayed for more blessings and guidance upon the toppers as well as for the present and upcoming students.
