Nagaland witnesses spike in Covid-19 cases as 107 test positive; tally rises to 12340
The spike came after Nagaland’s daily fresh Covid-19 cases dropped to either single digit or no cases for weeks.

Dimapur, March 31 (EMN): After a brief lull and a day after registering no new Covid-19 cases, Nagaland witnessed a sudden spike on Wednesday as 107 persons were tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours, taking the state’s tally to 12340.
The minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, informed through an update on Wednesday that 107 new Covid-19 were reported in Kohima.
This came after Nagaland’s daily fresh Covid-19 cases dropped to either single digit or no cases since 10 new cases were detected on February 17.
Nagaland currently has 113 active Covid-19 cases with Kohima accounting for 108 and five in Dimapur, while the remaining districts are Covid-free. The state has also recorded 11980 recoveries and 91 deaths, out of which 10 are “not Covid-related”.’
