Nagaland unit of NPP does charity work

Dimapur, Dec. 29 (EMN): As part of a social and humanitarian initiative, the Nagaland unit of the Nationalist People’s Party (NPP) organised a charity programme for patients of the district hospital on December 23 in Dimapur.

During the charity programme, the officials of the organisation along with members of its SEC, youth, and women wings and district units visited patients, doctors, nurses and other staff of the district hospital as well as inmates and warders of the district jail, and distributed food items and utilities, updates stated.  

The charity programme was undertaken to instil a sense of humanity and love for fellowmen through charity in the spirit of Christmas for people who are not only suffering from various ailments but also are financially insecure.
