KOHIMA, OCTOBER 8: Nagaland is returning home with 9 medals (3 Gold, 4 Silver and 2 Bronze) from the 62nd SGFI School Games Taekwondo U-14 and U- 17 for Boys and Girls championship, 2016-2017, organized by School Games federation Ranga Reddy District, School Games Federation, Telangana, which concluded on Saturday.
Nagaland also bagged the overall team champion in U-17 Boys category by winning two gold and three silver, while in U-14 Boys category the team clinched one gold, one sliver and two bronze.
The team officials are Visabiu Peseyie, state Taekwondo coach, Santsuthung Ngullie, Wokha coach and Keneingulie, Peren Coach.
The Medal winners are Heutingyi Zeliang – +41 kg, (Gold) for U-14 category, Keyinchigongbe Hega -56 kg (Gold), Boto Chophy -60 kg –(Gold) U-17 category.
Tenloi Phom -23 kg (Silver) U-14 category, Repinkiu Tikhir -48 kg (Silver), Ngaiching Phom -52 kg (Silver) and Keneilevo Nagi , +60 kg (Silver)U -17 category.
Asangbo Zeliang – 18 kg (Bronze) and Shanlanthung Ovung -32 kg (Bronze) U-14 category.
