Nagaland: Two new COVID cases

Dimapur, Sep. 19 (EMN): The number of active COVID-19 cases in Nagaland stands at 12 with two new cases -- one each in Dimapur and Mokokchung -- reported on Monday.

The total number of COVID cases in the state stands at 35,947 while the state’s cumulative recoveries increased to  33,641 with two patients having recuperated in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the death toll from the pandemic stands at 776.

Out of the 12 active cases, seven are asymptomatic and five mild.

In terms of district-wise distribution of active cases, Dimapur has five cases, Kohima four, two in Mokokchung and one in Wokha, while the remaining districts are currently COVID-free.
