Nagaland: Tovihoto inaugurates blood donation camp
Dimapur, Sep. 19 (EMN): The Dimapur branch of Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, Delhi, organised its second blood donation camp at Rotary Club Dimapur on Sunday.
Advisor of Power department, H Tovihoto Ayemi, graced the camp and inaugurated the event as the special guest, an update informed.
Tovihoto in his address stated that it should be the effort of all citizens irrespective of caste, creed or religion, to contribute for the social uplift, relief and rehabilitation of the society.
He appreciated the Dimapur based branch of Sant Nirankari for extending community services of various forms. He stated that blood donation is most noble and a precious gift that one can gift to another and encouraged all to donate blood and also to enhance social solidarity through civic commitment.
It mentioned that Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation conducted more than 6000 blood donation camp and donated a record number of 11,58,760 units in the past 36 years.
It informed that more than 200 individuals donated blood during the day-long event.
