Nagaland: Tovihoto highlights BJP’s commitment for the people

BJP candidate of 1 Dimapur-I AC, H Tovihoto Ayemi has outlined commitment and vision of the party to take Nagaland forward in terms of development and other welfare schemes.

Speaking at his election campaign at Ward No. 7 and 8 on February 16, Ayemi has highlighted the BJP‘s initiative for women welfare such as quality education to all female students from Kindergarten to Post Graduation, a bond of INR 50,000 to be provided on the birth of a girl child and a free scooty to meritorious college-going female students in the state.

Tovihoto also stressed on the BJP’s sincere commitment to preserve the rich Naga identity and culture with an investment of INR 1,000 crore besides other investments for the same.

He also highlighted the special package for inclusive development of eastern Nagaland and welfare scheme for old-age pensioners, welfare schemes for farmers and agricultural sector. He assured that the people of Nagaland would reap maximum benefit by voting the BJP to power.

He informed that the BJP-NDPP alliance is rock solid and would further work for over all development of Nagaland.

On development activities, Tovihoto pointed out that developmental activities are gradual process which cannot be achieved overnight.

In her address, Usha Bajpai, Nagaland election poll in-charge and NEC member, stated that the BJP in centre is aware of how Tovihoto has been efficiently and sincerely working to uplift the people. Stating that he will carry on forward with same commitment, she urged the electorates of Dimapur-I constituency to vote for him and further strengthen his hands to work for the people.

Other officials from the BJP also spoke in both the meetings.

Ayemi also held election campaign meetings at Ward No. 1 and 9 with the attendance of supporters from NST, Chakhesang, Rajbari (Nyamo Lotha Road), Eros Lane, Supply, Forest Nepali Basti and Circular Road (Bishop House) colonies and areas on Friday.

Addressing the huge gathering at two places, he outlined the commitment of the Bharatiya Janata Party and its vision for Nagaland to take Nagaland forward in terms of development and progress. (Dimapur, EMN)
