Nagaland government has encouraged every household to hoist the national flag from August 13 to the 15th

DIMAPUR — As part of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Nagaland government has encouraged every household to hoist the national flag from August 13 to the 15th.

The idea behind the campaign was to invoke passion for nation building and patriotism and to promote awareness about the Indian national flag, stated a DIPR report.

It stated that about 4.3 lakh national flags have been received from Ministry of Culture and distributed to all the district headquarters to be distributed to all the households in villages, towns, cities through the DC office, BDOs, local administrative officers.

It has asked everyone to buy the national flag at the rate of INR 28 and hoist at their houses. All citizens are also informed to wholeheartedly take part in ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign by hoisting the flag at their homes, business establishments, and institutions. Citizens are also asked to click selfies with the Tiranga (Tri-colour) and upload at harghartiranga.com.

It further urged everyone to join hands and reinforce commitment to nation-building.
