KOHIMA — For the first time, Nagaland will host the fourth edition of the Asia Music Summit scheduled from February 1 to the 3rd, 2024.
Nagaland Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio, on Tuesday announced this upcoming event, which would take place in the state capital Kohima.
The Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA), in partnership with Music Connect Asia, will host the event three-day event.
Rio informed that he is looking forward to welcoming delegates from 15 countries and representatives of music festivals from different parts of the country and abroad.
“The Asia Music Summit will be one of the biggest B2B and music expos in the country. It will further establish Nagaland’s place on the international music map,” Rio said.
Meanwhile, the MusiConnect Asia extended gratitude to the chief minister for allowing them to hold the summit in Kohima in association with TaFMA.
MusiConnect Asia, as described on its website, is an artist-driven venture committed to fostering connections and creating opportunities for music makers and allied industries in Asia. The platform aims to link them with presenters and prospects worldwide. The forum is overseen and guided by a team of respected music professionals hailing from diverse regions across Asia.
