Nagaland: Tir Yimyim to organise online literary competition

Dimapur, Oct. 7 (EMN): In commemoration of the completion of 17th year of Tir Yimyim publication on October 8, the daily in collaboration with Bookipedia, a free public library in Mokokchung town, is organising an online literary competition on reading alphabets and numbers, reciting nursery rhymes and telling folktales all in Ao, as mother language promotional activities amongst the children during lockdown.

The result of all the categories of the competition shall be declared virtually on October 8 at 3 pm on YouTube channel, Facebook (Tir Yimyim), www.tiryimyim.in and @Bookipediamokokchung (Instagram), it informed.

Altogether 72 participants will be participating in three categories of the competition. The best three entries in each category of the competitions carry a cash prize of INR 10,000, 5,000 and 3000 respectively along with commendation certificates.

Giving away of cash prizes and certificates to the respective winners may be also done online for convenience of all concerned in view of the present pandemic situation. Winners are requested to contact (8131929284 and 7085062285) for more information.
