Nagaland: Three minor boys drowned in Dhansiri River

Dimapur, April 23 (EMN): Three minor boys were reportedly drowned in Dhansiri River near Urban Haat in Dimapur on Saturday around 1-2 pm.

The deceased minor boys were identified as 12-year-old Throngrun T Yimkhiung, a Class 6 student, 15-year-old Manthrem N Konyak of Class 7 and 16-year-old Yaei M Konyak, a Class 9 student.

The boys were said to be at the Dhansiri River along with two other friends when the tragic incident happened.

The bodies were retrieved from the river with the help of the State Disaster Response Force police and two non-local residents.
