Nagaland teachers transfer portal goes live; 1901 transfer vacancies in government schools

Kohima, Oct. 3 (EMN): The new initiative of the department of School Education for teachers’ online transfer portal was activated on October 3 and will be kept open till October 31. The portal went live 10 days after it was launched (September 23).

This was stated by the principal director of School Education, Shanavas C, through a Twitter update on Saturday morning.

“DoSE Nagaland’s Teacher Transfer Portal dosenl.in goes live from October 3, 2020. Portal will be kept open till October 31, 2020,” he tweeted.

‘Tentative Vacancy Positions’ available for Teacher’s Transfer is given under ‘Downloads’. Teachers may submit applications for other schools as well. However, consideration of their request is subjected to feasibility factors.

Meanwhile, the official website of the department also notified that the “tentative vacancy positions available for teacher’s transfer is given under ‘Downloads’” section. “Teachers may submit applications for other schools as well. It may be mentioned that the principal director had issued a notification after the launch of the portal on September 23, that ‘no offline application will be accepted for any kind of teacher transfer with effect from the day onwards’.

Vacancy position for teacher’s transfer

Accordingly, there are 1901 vacancies in the state government-owned schools — government primary school (GPS), government middle school (GMS), government high school (GHS) and government higher secondary school (GHSS).

Vacancy-wise details at different levels and subject teachers as per data provided on the website: GT Maths- 196; GT Science- 187; GT English- 248; GT General- 3; Primary Teacher- 831; GHT- 87 and UGHT- 349.
