Nagaland: SVSU appeals department of School Education

Dimapur, May 19 (EMN): Shamator Village Students Union (SVSU) has stated that, during a visit to the educational institutions in Sahamtor on May 13, it found that there was a shortage of teachers and no computer, solar facilities, peon or chowkidar at GMS, Shamator village.

The department of School Education had deployed two more teachers at GMS Shamator village on March 30 but had retained one G/T at the same place on May 16, an press release from SVSU informed.

Further, Ruthla P/T, who served for 19 years at the school, had unofficially been transferred to  GMS Yakor village without the knowledge of the SMC Shamator village.

The union urged the department to look into the matter at the earliest for the benefit of the students.
