Dimapur, Aug. 27 (EMN): Study Space, a centre for studying or working quietly and undisturbed was opened on Saturday at Duncan Bosti, opposite Cornerstone School in Dimapur.
The proprietor of Study Space, Tonikali Awomi, told Eastern Mirror that the idea behind opening the study space was to provide and facilitate a quiet space for students, aspirants and book lovers.
Awomi, who was an aspirant herself, said the idea was conceived after her attempt to prepare for examinations but could not do so because of various obligations. Considering this situation, she decided to provide a space of study, work and to read.
‘When we can imitate others in fashion, food to name a few, why not take the good example and initiatives of others and give it a try,’ she conveyed.
The Study Space will be operational from September 1 and interested persons have to enrol themselves to avail the facility.
‘The space will be open from 6 am to 6 pm and free tea and snacks will be provided for breakfast for early birds as complementary,’ she informed.

The organisation has offered packages on three monthly and six monthly basis, which would be opened six days in a week accompanied with home cooked snacks corner at a nominal rate. The study space has a capacity for 30 students with locker facility.
Other free facilities provided included Wifi, RO drinking water, daily newspaper, printing, scanning, photocopy facility, mini library with competitive exam prescribed textbooks.
